| ABOUT CCGSE/CCÉDÉ
Welcome to our website. Within the umbrella of the Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE), we work to facilitate communication, research collaboration, and networking
among like-minded students. We are a voluntary group of Canadian and international students, engaged in MA, MEd, PhD, or EdD programs. We represent Canada’s First Nations, over 30 Canadian universities,
and both of Canada’s official languages.
The CSSE annual conference is a unique Canadian opportunity to meet the researchers whose work you have been reading about, to discover new perspectives on your own research, and to savour a
truly substantial intellectual feast. As part of the conference, CCGSE hosts roundtables, poster sessions and professional development seminars for graduate students. We are also encouraged
to submit proposals to the CSSE Associations and SIGS (special interest groups) located at http://csse.ca/Assoc/Assoc.htm. Many distinguished and
junior faculty members kindly volunteer to serve as Discussants at these sessions. The Conference Call for Proposals will be circulated on line to CSSE members and in the Fall issue of CSSE’s Canadian Journal of Education.
The CCGSE listserv is an opportunity for graduate students across Canada to share papers, ideas, problems, and solutions related to our professional
development.
CCGSE is generously funded through a per capita grant from CSSE and administered by a volunteer executive. All students who join CSSE automatically become members of CCGSE at no additional charge.
Membership can be purchased on line at http://www.csse.ca.
