CSSE is a bilingual organization whose mission is to advance knowledge and inform practice in educational settings.

Standing Committees

SCORD - Standing Committee on Research and Development

To inform the membership of CSSE regarding the nature and structure of educational research and avenues of research funding.

SCOGER - Standing Committee on Government and External Relations

To seek representation and active participation of CSSE in educational policy making at the provincial, national and international levels.

SCOPEC - Standing Committee on Professional Enhancement and Collaboration

To encourage new and renewed membership in CSSE, to foster the work of the local representatives and to plan professional development events for CSSE members where appropriate.

SCOC - Standing Committee on the Conference

To oversee the conference, promote opportunity, and foster a high quality research conference through the recommendation of policies and practices to the Board of Directors.

Support for Scholarly Events

The mission of CSSE is to advance knowledge and inform practice in educational settings. Our major scholarly event is the yearly conference at Congress. However, CSSE is also anxious to encourage meetings throughout the year and provides seed money (Maximum $2500 per event) for short term scholarly events that support its mission.
